TRIUMPH FOR NEW BRITISH BABY CARS AT BROOKLANDS.

The British double twelve hours’ race, organised by the Junior Car Club (the greatest speed and endurance race in the British motor sport calendar), run at Brooklands Surrey, May 8 and 9, for 12 hours Zach day, was won by the Earl of Marlh a7d hfs riving partner, C. S. Staniland, in his M.G. Midget, averaging 65| miles an hour for 24 hours. It was a triumph for British baby cars against speed models of all makes and sizes, and a magnificent racing debut for a comparatively new model Second third, and fourth places were also won by M.G. Midgets. The Earl of March is shown driving the M.G. Midget which won ’ the race.
