Anxious to revive interest in the celebration of Arbour Day, the New Zealand Forestry League has offered a prize of £5 for competition between the primary schools of the Dominion. The prize will be awarded to the school which shows the most effective work in the planting of trees and shrubs, either in the school ground or in some public park, domain or recreation ground.
