The director of the. Australian Museum. Dr Anderson, stated at Sydney recently that the discovery of the skeleton of a 14foot kangaroo in the south-east of South Australia was most interesting. Some of those large extinct marsupials lived 30.000 years ago, but died out when the blacks first came, about 20,000 years ago.
