WAIMATE POULTRY SHOW
The annual show of the Waimate Winter and Poultry Show Association was concluded on Saturday, when there was a large attendance of the public. The entries over all were larger than last year, and the displav was a very- creditable one. Competition in the majority of the classes was keen, and the judges had a difficult task in making their awards. The South Island Poultry, Pigeon, and Canary championship for utility male Minorca was won by Afr W. D. At. Wilson, and the buff or cinnamon Peking bantam championship by Mr J. C. AVilson. The same association’s championships for AVorkshire yellow canary * and Yorkshire cinnamon canarv were won in each case by Mr W. T. Blows.
