The new collection of pictures secured by the Mackelvie trustees is maintaining its interest with the Auckland public. During last week the gallery was visited by 2397 persons, a daily average of 342. In addition to' the new • picture collection, visitors; are directed to the etchings ami engravings section, which forms part of the new-collection.
