“What’s going to be done about these congregations who have not paid their assessments? ” asked Air J. D. Smith at the Presbyterian General Assembly at Wellington. He said that the congregations which had not paid their assessments amounted to 22J per cent. “ You can’t take the breeks off a Hielander,” remarked the Rev. Dr J. Gibb.
