GEORGE. —In loving remembrance of Private Edwin George (9th Reinforcements), who was killed in action at Messines on June 7, 1917.—Inserted by his loved ones.
THOMPSON.—In loving memory of our dear son, Geary Gibson, who fell at Messines, June 7, 1917. “We miss him most who loved him best.”—lnserted by his loving parents, sister, and brother.
WHEELER.—In sad and loving remembrance of our dearly beloved brother, Private Dap Wheeler, 19th Reinforcements, killed while in action in the battle of Messines on June 7, 1917, beloved second son of the late William and Marion Wheeler, Bath street.
He gave his life for his country. A lonely grave in a far-off land, A grave we may never see; But while life and memory last We will remember Dan. —lnserted by his sorrowing sisters and brothers.
