Another new geyser has been added to the thermal attractions of Rotorua district. It is situated on the route between Lake Rotomahana and Waimangu. It has been playing for three minutes at eight-minute intervals with great regularity for the last fortnight, and a volume of clear water and steam is thrown 20 feet into the ah’. The outbreak is interesting insomuch that it has occurred at the end of a well-known fault, which has been traced in that locality.
