FROZEN MEAT TRADE.
NAPIER, September 9.
The C.C. and D. Company, London, cabled the following report in regard to the frozen meat market: — "We are glad to be able to report an improvement in the meat market. To-day'e prices are : Mutton — Canterbury 3id, Napier, Wellington, and North L>land 2Jd ; lamb — first quality 3£d, second 3gd ; beef — hinds 3|d, fores 23d."
