FRUIT-PRESERVING.
PROJECTED COMPANY. (Pbou Oub Own Cobbespondeht.) WELLINGTON, September 8. Mr William Jaques, lately: canning expert to the New Zealand Government, is inviting capital for 'the'" formation of' a private company to undertake the business of fruit- preserving. He states that he has already received intimation" from a large number of fruitgrowers that sufficient supplies of fruit will be available for the coming season. If the project is not taken up, Mr Jaques will leave New Zealand.
