SENDING THREATENING LETTERS.

AUCKLAND, September 13. At the Police Court to-day Arnold Har« was charged with having sent letters to T. E. Clark containing threats with intentl to extort money. According to the evidence, the letter was written by R. Oi Clark, who is now out of the Dominion, to his brother, T. E. Clark, factoryj manager of Messrs R. 0. Clark (Ltd.), and! this letter would, according to witnesses, have done harm to the Clark family anj injured the credit of the company if published.
