SALVATION ARMY.

TWENTY-SIXTH ANNIVERSARY. In continuation of the celebration of the twenty-sixth anniversary of the establishment of the Salvation Army in Dunedin a special tea-meeting was held in the Salvation Army barracks on the Ist, at 6 p.m., followed at 7 p.m. by a "musical tornado." In addition the chdrieters contributed two anthems, and Miss Eva Hughson gave an exhibition of clubswmgmg, the whole concluding with the rendering of the quartet " Nearer, My God, To Thee."
