SKILLED MARKSMEN.
Ex-Crown Prince George of Servia has, says a Vienna report, shot a pair of pearl pendants from a lady's ■ears at a distance cf 10 paces. His aim was so true that the bullets merely .severed the gold wire on which the pearls were suspended, and the gems dropped on the lady's shoulders, and thence to the floor, uninjured. The two shots were fired in quick succession without a tremor on the part of the lady, at whose behest the Prince had consented to exhibit his skill. He had often been challenged to similar essays, and yielded in the present instance only at the urgent entreaty of his hostess, tht lady in question, who declared herself ambitious to .°erve a--- target, and anxious to prove the Prince'» consummate .-kill a.i a. marksman.
