(Fboie Oxn Own Corbesvoxdebt.) AUCKLAND, September 6. At the Supreme Court to-day, in speak- ■ ing .os behalf of a prisoner who had pleaded guilty to a charge of bigamy, MrJ. B. Reed said there were certain per- . sons who were always ready (to carry out' marriage ceremonies -without being too particular. His "Honor : They have been cursed with that sort of thing in Australia. I do not know that it occurs here. Mr Reed: Therfi is an individual in Auckland at the present time who represents himself to be a clergyman, and who advertises daily in the newspapers that be is prepared to solemnise marriages at any hour. His Honor: Then the authorities ought to remove his name from the register. !
