DAVIS CUP CONDITIONS.

SYDNEY, September 4. The Lawn Tennis Association discussed the New Zealand Association's ultimatum regarding the Davis Cup, and decided that the association could not recede from the ■position taken up at the last meeting. ■The secretary was instructed to inform the -New Zealand Association of this decision, " to intimate that it was still open -to New Zealand to rejoin, and to request that reasons for New Zealand's' -attitude should be stated, so that any misapprehensions at present existing should be removed.
