THE DISPUTE IN ENGLAND. LONDON, September 1.
Mr A. Henderson, chairman of the Labour pa>"iy in iI«J House of Commons, proposed arbitration in connection with the football dispute. The Players' Union welcomes the suggestion, but the Association declines, considering that the suggestion has come to hand too late. A ta-uoe has been declared in the fc<.tball dispute pending further negotiations, and the association has removed the sispensions for to-day's matches.
