AUCKLAND, September 3. The important news has been cabled Home to-day that in the Talisman No. 13 level driving has been resumed m the south end on the main reef. It will be remembered that this is the portion of the mine where, about a year ago, operations had to be suspended owing to the inrush • of water drowning out the workings. an» south face at the time was in Bonanza ore, and since the contretemps happened no , work has been done in this drive.
