SIR J. G. WARD.
OTTAWA, September 2. In the course of an interview, Sir J. G. Ward said that New Zealand "stood firm for an undivided Imperial navy, but she had been outvoted in the conference. He added that New Zealand strongly advocated " All Red " steamship and cable lines owned by the Government. SYDNEY, September 2. H.M.S. Challenger will sail direct for Fiji on September 19 to embark Sir J. G. Ward.
