The Oreytown-Wairarapa Checee Com- I pany advanced lid per lb of butter-fat sup- ' plied, -totalling £10,043. A 'further 6um of £1593 was (to be distributed, which will equal Is OJd per lb butter-fat over the whole of the season. The average test was 3.98. Each pound of butter-fat made an average of 2.551b of cheese. The average price realised in London was 62s per cwt, 250 tons having been manufactured. The Dalefield Co-operative Dairy Company, Wellington district, advanced to suppliers £14,989. After writing off £169 for [
depreciation, paying 6 per cent, on, the subscribed capital, and paying expenses, there remained to be paid to suppliers £4637, making an actual cash payment of Is lid per 1b of butter-fait, equal to 5.39 d per gallon of miHc of lOilb. Tho quantity of milk required to raalke lib of ckeese was 9.801b, and each poun<i of butter-fat made 2.601b of cheese. The average test during the -season, was 3.91. The quantity of cheess made was 419 tons. The Parkvale Co-operative Dairy Company, Wellington district, manufactured 203 tons 9cwt of cheese from 4,589,7351b of milk. Each pound of butter-fat yielded 2.50fb of cheese, and each pound of cheese required 10.071b of milk. The average test was 3.97. The actual price paid to suppliers for butter-fat was Is o£d, equal to 5d per gallon of 10£ ib milk. A dividend of 6 per cent, per annum was paid on the subscribed capital. The Belvedere Co-operative Dairy Company, "Wellington district, paid suppliers 11.833 d per pound of bu*ter-f»t, while 6 per cent, was paid on the subscribed capital. The quantity of oheeso made was 175 tons locvrt, all graded first-class. Eaoh pound of butter-fat averaged 2.3791b of cheese, and it took &921b of milk to make lib of cheese. Tho Masterton Dairy Company paid in cash to suppliers a fraction over lOd per lb butter-fat for the season. The total buttox-fat received was 120,2991b; butter manufactured, 137,5941b; overrun, 14.36. Negotiations are in progress for amalgamation with the Mauricaville Dairy Company. The Mangaitoki Co-operative Dairy Company, after paying a dividend of 5 per cent, to shareholders, was able to distribute 10.2 d per lb of butter-fat. The amount of milk received was 24,611,8201b, yielding 931,5611b of butter-fat, producing 482 tons 3wt 131b of commercial butter, the average test having been 3.78.
