CONCERT AT WALTON.
An enjoyable con-cert and social was held in tho "Walton Schcolhouse on Thuis■day in aid of the Sunday School funds. After a short programme of songs by Messrs G. F. Mirams and H. Miller and Misses Loudon, Sparrow, and M'Donald, a duot by Mr and Mrs Mirams, and a recitation by Miss Ella Perrin, a number ■ being encored, refreshments were handed round. Mr W. Martin then took the stage, and gave an hour' 6 entertainment with chemical and electrical experiments, concluding with a short lecture on wireless telegraphy, illustrated by the. actuafl a-p-paratus. He was assist-ed on the stage by Messrs Hielt3 and 1 Keivworthy. At the close short messages we-re sent and received. Mr G-illanders then proposed a hearty vote of thanks to those who had , kindly assisted in making the evening a success. The Rev. Mr Kilpatrick made an efficient chairman.
