MORE IMMIGRANTS. THE PAPAROA'S CONTINGENT.
WELLINGTON, Axgasb 20. Thete are 163 tot New Zealand on tbe iPaparoa, which is due to reach Wellington about the middle of next Seek. Of these 125 are in tbe third class. ixty-Uiree of the immigrants have been assisted in payment ox their passage' thoney, this number including 29 women, 14 men, and 20 ohildten. Those actually •eat out through the High Commißsioner's office number 22 — 17 adults and five children — while other 26 adults and 15 children were nominated by friends at this end. The women include 13 domestics, ojoe housekeeper, and seven wives, travel-
ling out with children to rejoin their husbands. Among the men are seven farmers, one farm labourer, and one dairyman. One of the farmers brings a capital of £400, and other sums varying down to £25Q. — ~-
