VINCENT COUNTY TEAM.-

The following team has been chosen to represent Vincent County against the metropolitan team touring the goldfields, the match to be played at Clyde on the 28th inst. : — Fixll back, R. The team is regarded as a fairly strong combination (says our Alexandra correspondent), and a team from the Upper Clutha Clubs has challenged "Vincent for a game, which"" in all likelihood •wall be played at Cromwell on Saturday next. Permission will have to be obtained from the 0.R.F.U., as the Uppsr Clutha Clubs are not affiliated to any union. The 'Vincent team will play Tuapeka at Roxlaurgh on September 11.
