The Kurow Jockey Olub have issued the programme for tiVieir annual meeting, winch is set down for Thursday, OotobeT 7. The principal event is the Otekaike Handicap, of 60sovs, six furlongs, and the best stake «ver offered by tie chib. Next in point of value comes the Belfield Handicap, of 45sovs, four furlongs, and tha balance of *he. list is made up as follows: — Talaanba Mack, of 308 ova, one mile; Maiden Handicap, of 35e0v8, four fuiiongs (open to all horses thoit ihava not won a, race exceeding 25sovs in value at time of starting) ; "Waitaki Handicap Trot, of 35eovs, one mile and ; Hunt Club Cup SteeplecJhApe, of 30sovs or cup (open to all qualified hunters); Habatairamea Hack Heoidioap, of 35sovs, five furlongs; and Kurow Handicap Trot, of 35sovs, one mile. Nominaibions are due on SanrternbOT 18, handicaps appear on September 28, and acceptances must be declared on October 2.
