CANTERBURY.

A man named George Finlay was committed for sentence on the 11th charged on four informations with having, between November 10 and 18, 1908, sent to A. Bloxham, Omarama, telegrams purporting to have been signed by James Clark, ■with intent to defraud, and was further chai-ged with having forged the eignature of James Clark to two money order telegrams and to two money order receipts.
