CHRISTCHURCH, August 11. At the Addington live stock market to-day the entries of all classes of stock were small, and there was a- fair attendance. Fat came and sheep were rather firmer. Fat hoggets sold at late rates. Store sbeep were xathex dull of sale, and pigs sold well. The yarding of store sheep was a small mixed one," and the sale was a dull one, few buyers being present', and prices were easier. There were only seven or eight penis of fat hoggets offered, and they were mostly small and inferior sorts, aud they met with a dragging sale, prices ranging from 9s to 13s " 6d. A few now season's lambs were penr.ed, amd they made 16s to 17s. The yarding of fat sheep was a small one, but it was about sufficient for requirements, as the butchers were well supplied the week before. Prices at the opening wore about equal to last week's rates, but they afterwords became weaker.
