Mrs Brooks, widow of a. captain in tho m-erobant earvioe, of Montpelier, Writtle, nfiar Cbelmsford, who is probably the only person living in. England who saw Napoleon is now in her 98th year. As a small child she was rowed across Plymouth Sound when Napoleon was on board the Bellerophon.
