EARTHQUAKE IN JAPAN
m SERIOUS LOSS OF LIFE. TOKIO, August 15. A severe earthquake was felt in the districts of Nagoya, Kyoto, and Osaka. Thirty persons were killed and 82 injured. August 16. Nagoya was badly damaged. The number estimated to have been killed or injured is hourly increasing, and is double the oiiftinad figures. Mount Miki, an extinct volcano, collapsed with a thunderous roar.
