flfßosi Oxjb. Own Cobrespondent.) TEMUKA August 13. During the week there has been practically no wheat offering, and as far as can be judged there is very little in farmers' hands to offer. There will be really no spring threshing to do this year, owing to the fine weather obtaining during tihe autumn. The stocks in the hands of the merchants appear small, and when present commitments for shipping are completed, these will be reduced. The opinion that tfoe surplus over actual requirements for New Zealand consumption has been shipped is becoming more and more confirmed, wiiih more than half the year to go. It is difficult to locate the stocks of milling to meet the demands. The fact of heavy sowing for this year does not alter the position; tfiis year's growing crqo cannot be ready for milling for nearly seven months.

Oats.— Oats remain much as for some time past— firm at quotation, with practically none offering. Shsaf chaff is etill neglected Potatoes are not offering as freely as tkey were, apparently all soun<l table sort* having been marketed.
