Running down the railway side, JThe Sun ran up into second place, and Nightlight moved up. Nightlieht joined the leaders at the mile post. , The Sim then went out on- his own. and at the seven-furlong post had a lead of three, lengths, while Enchanted States dropped back. Nightlijrht and Fossil raced tip to the leader, and half a-mile from home Fossil was leading from Nightlight. with The Sun close up Louise was the last of the forward division. Nig'htlight then drew away, and entered the straight several lengths ahead of Fossil, who tell back % whilo Louise was moving up. Won easily by eight lengths. Rogue's March was fourth.
