OFFICE v. KITCHEN.
WELLINGTON, March 5. No fewer than 250 girls are attending the bookkeeping, shorthand, and typewritng classes at the Technical School, whereas there are only 40 who are learning to cook. The director of the school thinks there is cot quite co much indifference shown to the art of housekeeping- hj the young ladies of Auckland, Christohuroh, and Duoedin. Possibly there are better Qopoxtunitiee for girls to obtain OOagenial office work in the capital than in the other centre*.
