THE CHRISTCHURCH MOTOR FATALITY.

CHRISTCHURCH, March 5. The inquest concerning the death of Mr S. R. Merrett, who was fatally injured in a motor o*r accident at Addmgton on February 22, was concluded by Mr H. W. Bishop, District Coroner, to-night. After 40 minutes' retirement, the jury returned a verdict that S. R. Merrett met his death by a motor accident, no blame, in their opinion, being attachable to anyone, and tfcat Dr Diamond did his best in the ciroumetanoes.
