THE FINANCIAL RESULT.
WANGANUI, March 2.
The final esttling-up over the WebbTresiddcr race resulted, in each of the scullers receiving over £200 from the "gates" in addition to the stake. This is more than double the profits of the Webb-Towns match in Sydney, and had the- weather been finer the pates would have been much larger. Tresidder left today for Gisborne on a short holiday, but returns in about a week.
