NEW PLYMOUTH, February 22. The annual meeting of the Polynesia* Society was held last nig-ht. Tho president's report stated that one or the original members hpd offered £100, if another £400 were raised, to print th«j society's records. The new edition of thq Maori Dictionary is approaching the print* injr stage. It will contain one-third more words than are found in the existing dio< tionarics. The library will shortly be removed to the Technical School Buildings.
The following 1 officers were re-elected;—* President, Mr S. Percy Smith; council-* Messrs M. Fraser, M. L. Newman, and F* P. Corkill; auditor, Mr W. 1). Webster.
