1 The continued dry weather has allowed the harvesting to be finished under favourab'e conditions, the grain being now safely in stack or sacks. The maiket is not active, the tendency being to an easing of prices. Wheat which crened at 4s 3d, tails to nn3 buyers now at this price, but growers are disinclined to sell under, consequently business is restricted at the moment pending further developments. The major portion of oats offering being duns, the prices are also easier at 2s to 2s 2d, according to quality and description, but when deliveries and cffeiings slacken off, prices may steady again. Chaff is inquired for at £3 to fi 2s 6d for prime oalsheaf, but there is not roucß offering at present. Kyegrass being plentiful, buyers are not so keen as they were, and the dry weather is u'so checking the. demand. Sales have been made at '2a <5d to 33b for farmers' lines. Potatoes are being dealt with in a letail way only. Partridge peas have been sold at 3s 6d, but uo s«des of beans are reported.
