RECORD ENTRIES. MASTERTON, Februaiy 18. The Ma^terton «ho\\ opened to-day. Rain commenced to fall in the afternoon, and continued for a short period. The entries constituted a record in the history of the association, being o^ei-1800. the largest number of entries receded for a-nv show in the Dominion. The class of stock all round was good, cattle. Romneys, and Lincolns being particularly so. Championships were won as follows: — Romney ewe, W. B. Allen ; ram, E. Short.
