The 4rack was an good order, and was watered between the sices. Tie Attendance probably constituted a record for » Tahnna T?&rk meeting, and some mtereHting sport -was wittnessed -during .the 'day. Lady i Vancleve began well, and acted --as pacemaker, the leßdershlp being hotiy disputed by Commanderite. Going down the back for the last ■ time David Hanjm, Teddy, anS SVithiof were close up with the leaders. ' David Haruin btobe, however, und lost place, and in & good finish Frithiof, who wore down 'Commanderite, won by » short length. Harold Grey ran past the others in the straight and finished third, just in front of Teddy -and Lady Vancleve. Ard Patrick always looked a winner in -fche JBiaoelet, and after keeping f clear of his opposition won nioely. The day's ' ipcrt was concluded wrthxthe Dadh Handicap,, in w-hfeh three wentto .the post. The strongest opposition to Wilkie came from Silver Black, who mixed three times in the race,, leaving Wilkie to run home a comfortable winner.
