The annual meeting of the Dunedin Choral Society was held in the Victoria Hali on the 25th, and though there was a good number cf members present the attendance was not such as might have been hoped for. The annual report presented detailed the work done during the year, and referred with regret to the dwindling chorus. The balance sheet showed a credit balance of some £20. The President (Mr W. Wilson) moved the ■adoption of the report and balance sheet, and expressed disappointment at the attendance and to the small number of honorary members. f The report and balance sheet were adopted, but the election of office-bearers deferred until a meeting is held next week to decide whether the society should continue in existence or disband.
