PARTY POLITICAL FUNDS.

LONDON, February 20.

Mr H. Belloc moved a motion deploring the secret administration of party political funds, and asserting that such action imperilled the privileges and character of the House of Commons.

Mr H. C. Lea inveighed vehemently against the sale of titles and decorations by both parties, and asserted that under Mr Balfour a peerage cost £150,000.

Several noisy scenes occured, and the debate was adjouned.
