• • LONDON, February 20. 0 The Land Valuation Bill was read a second time without a division, after Mr H. Cox's motion to reject it had been defeated by 363 votes to 99. February 22.

The second reading of the Small Holdings (Scotland) Bill, which is based on thu lines of the English act of 1907, was

opposed by the Secretarj^jpr Scotland (Mr Sinclair), and was negatived by 184 votes to 44.
