A SHIP WRECKED.

NEW YORK, February 17.

The ship Emily Reed, from Newcastle for Portland, was wrecked on the Oregon coast. Eleven of the crew were drowned.

The Emily Reed was a wooden ship, 1565 tons, and was built by A. R. Reed in 1885 at 'V&ilclobro', Maine. She was owned by the T?mily Reed Company. Her principal dimensions were : — Length, 215 f t; breadth, 40ft ; depth, 24ft. She was registered afc San Francisco.
