A REMARKABLE DECISION. HASTINGS. Fcbruaiy 15. The Borough Council held a special mcetinp^ to consider a report by Mr Metcalfe, C.E.. on the whole system of the sewerage of Hastings, and the proposed extension, also a supplementary renort by Mr J. Rogers, C.E. ; but instead of discussing the engineers' reports the Mayor mo\ed that the road overseer be instructed to prepare a report as to the best means of dealing with Hastings sowerase.
