SUGGESTED CONFERENCE. OAMARU February 17. At a meeting of the Chamber of Corameice to-day it was resolved that the secretary communicate with the Chambers at Invercargill, Dunedin, Timaru, and Christchurch re holding a conference at Oamaru or other suitable centre on the subject of the weight of grain in cornsacks, and also that the Chambers of Commerce at Melbourne, Sydney, and Adelaide be asked to state the position in those places.
