MOROCCO, February 13. General D.unqde captured Settat and louteil .i large foice ot Moors after six houib conflict. February 15. A Spanish force, under General Marina, occupied Merebica, on the north coast of Morocco, after a. slight skirmish. February 16. The Moroccan State Bank has advanced the Maghzen two and a-half million francs (£100,000) ■exclusively for the payment of the garrison in Moroccan ports. The bank's action is due to the expectation that foreigners will suffer if the Sheereffian troops are not paid.
