WELLINGTON, January 30. Following ajre the vital statistics iot December: —
There were 62 deaths of persons of 65 years and upwards. Eight men (67, 68, 69, 75, 77, 80, 85, 89) and 11 women (69, 70, 73, 74, 75, 75, 83, 83, 84, 84, 88) died at Auckland; eight men (70, 71, 72, 73, 73, 76, 7?, 97) and four women (69, 70, 73, 88) at Wellington; seven ru«n (66, 67, 67, 72, 74, 82, 86> and three women (77, 79, 86) at Chri-tchurch ; and 12 men (68, 69, 71, 71, 73, 74, 77, 77, 78, 80, 82, 88) and ni^e women (67, 68, 73, 75, 76, 76, 80, 83, 86) at Dunedin.
