MELBOURNE, February 4. The cricket match between England and Victoria was concluded to-day, resulting in a win for the formeT by 320 runs. Little interest was taken in the game. This is the third match between England and Victoria during the present tour, but it is the first in which a victory has been secured, tho other two games having been drawn. In the first match the Englishmen made 198 in their first innings and 422 for nine wickets in their second, while Victoria compiled 233 in their first venture and 463 in their second. In the second match England declared their fmr innings closed with nine wickets down for 503, and in response Victoria knocked up 488 for nine wickets. The victory of the Englishmen in the match just concluded is not surprising, and the opposing team was comprised largely of colts, the best players in the State having been prevented from participating in the game owing to the fact that they did not return from Sydney in time. The next fixture is the fotiTth test match, which will be played at Melbourne on the 7th. Bth. 10th. and 11th met.
