WAIKOUAITI.
February 10 — The ordinary monthly meeking of the Hawksbury Domain Board was held on Monday last, but the annual meeting — at which the appointment of chairman, and also of committees will be made — is being held over until the new members (Messra Malloch and Fel.) take their seats. A special meeting of the board was heid on Setur-. clay to discuss the best method of removing the old Court House to the Recreation Ground. After some it was decided to shift the building by day labour, and the work will be commences almost immediately.
White Cross League — Mr B'.igh, White Cross lecturer, delivered an address to young men in the Public Hal! on Thursday last, the subject being " The Dangers of Impurity." The Mayor (Mr A. Heckler) occupied the chair There was a fair attendance, and the speaker received an attentive bearing. The Dairy Factory.— Notwithstanding th« fact that January of tliia year waa exceptionally dry, and the grass much burnt up, the payments for that month by the Dairy Factory Company for milk have exceeded all previous records — the total amount paid bemo; £1366. The weather is still very dry, and the supply of milk is now decreasing rapidly.
