Walmslcv. Edward B. M'G., Otago Boys' Hierh School. . 3. Bastings. Lyndon, Otago Boys' High School. 4. Piddington. Tera I. T., Otago Girls Hieh School. 5 Lowrlen. Leonard J., Otago Boys Higa School. „. , , _. 6. Hogg, Catherine, Otago Girls' High School. 7. "VTestfieia, Margaret J., Otago Girls" High School. 8. Fyfe. Thomas, Waitaki Boys High 'School. 9. Garrev, Agnes. Otago Girls High. School. . , , 10. Tait, John, Otago Boys' High School. 11. Reid. John Stuait. Otago Boys' Higß School. „. 12 Burnavd. Eiio M., Otago Boys' High School. We understand that Walmsley, who stands second on the IW\ acting on thft advice of his mftdical adviser, has declined to accept a scholarship, and oonseqiiently it will fall to the eleventh on the list— viz., J. S. R*id. On going into the matter, the board found it wa« in a position to allot one additional scholarship, making 11 instead of 10. and this has been awarded to Eric M. Burnard.
