OTEKAIKE ESTATE.
WELLINGTON, February 6.
The Otekaike Estate, North Otago, recently acquired by the Government foB closer settlement, has been subdivided into 49 sections, and 29,925 acres have been, offered for selection on 33 years' renewable lease. To date over 900 applications have been received for 49 sections, and no less than 701 different individuals will take part in the ballot.
