OLD-AGE PENSIONS. LONDON, January 30.
Mr Arthur Henderson, a member of the House of Commons, referring to oldage pensions, said that if the Government meant to impose heavier burdens upon the poor the Labour party would res-'st it by all means in its power. Mr Asquith had been silent on the point.
