AUCKLAND, January 27. The different branches of the National Defence League having" been consulted, Wellington has been chosen as the plaoe where the first annual ' conference should be held. At a special meeting of the Genaral Council "it was decided to suggest to -&M various branches that Tuesday, April 21, would be a sultfbte date for the conference, and it Is thought that the meeting- will be & thoroughly representative one, and tiist delegates from all parts of th« Dominion will be Dr^seni.
